Anyone can say they are licensed. In California you can check in about thirty seconds, and it is worth doing before you let a stranger work on your property at two in the morning.
What our license covers
Our California contractor's license covers glass and the framing that holds it — which is exactly what a broken opening is. The opening we close tonight is the same opening, in the same frame, that gets repaired later. Closing it properly is part of that work.
It changes how the board goes on. A wood-framed residential window, an aluminum storefront, and stucco over concrete do not take the same fastening, and the frame is the part most crews get wrong. Over two decades in this trade means we read the opening first, then decide what will actually stay put in it — and we do not leave damage behind for the repair to deal with.
That first step is this company's whole business — securing openings after a break-in, a storm, or a fire, and keeping vacant and unoccupied buildings closed against unauthorized entry. That is what we are set up for, licensed for, and out doing at three in the morning.
One visit, one price, published
Emergency work is where surprise charges live. Ours are on the website instead. $300 secures the first opening — travel, assessment, installation labor, materials, and a safety sweep of the work area. Each additional opening on the same visit is $130.
The number does not go up because it is 2 a.m., a weekend, or a holiday. We are a 24-hour company; charging a premium for the hours we advertise would be charging you for our own sign.
Where we work
Los Angeles County and Orange County, out of our shop at 8521 Norwalk Blvd Ste E, Whittier, CA 90606 — which sits on the line between the two, so neither county is the far side of the trip.
Our standard service area is a 25-mile radius. Between 25 and 50 miles we still come out, with a flat $100 distance charge quoted before we head out. Farther than that, call and ask.
